"To my wife, Mary WHEELER, the plantation I bought of my brother, Clement WHEELER,
... a negro boy, John, a negro man, Peter, and a negro woman, Kate.
To my son, Luke WHEELER, all of my estate after my wife's death."

Joseph WHEELER, son of William, died in 1798 and his will mentions brother, Luke, and wife, Henrietta.

Joshua WHEELER, son of William mentioned in the will of his grandmother, Mary FORD, in St. Mary's Co, in 1784.  Evidentally Joshua died bef. 25 Mar. 1805. It is evident that William married twice from the following:

"Whereas a marriage is intended between William WHEELER and Mary CLEMENTS and in case the said marriage shall take effect the said William WHEELER doth agree that the said Mary CLEMENTS shall hold, possess and enjoy the property, both real and personal, after the death of said William WHEELER.  The said William WHEELER to have the use of the said property during his natural life and in case Mary CLEMENTS dies first she may, by will devise or convey the property to any person. signed 18 Nov. 1793, recorded 21 Jan. 1796. Wit.: John CLEMENTS, Elender CLEMENTS, by her mark"
