Wells-SC-1813-1854-Wills Just got info in from my gg aunt's husband's family. I noted on the papers Listed in a Laurens Co. SC Will Book. p. 239 Will of Keziah Wells---June 21, 1854---Sept. 10, 1854 filed ... to son Jeremiah S. Wells negro boy Elbert ... to son Daniel A. Wells negro boy Nathan, bedstead and furniture, (then more bequeaths, but for money) ... to son Daniel A. Wells negro girl Nelly and $300 in trust...(and more bequeath to him) ... to son Daniel A. Wells negro girl Oney, 1 bedstead, (then more beq.) Notes: Daniel A. Wells was living in the James Bonds household on the 1850 census in Newberry Co. In 1860 census he was living in the Charles C. Wells househohld in Pontotoc Co. MS. (this is my gg aunt's husband) - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Then in Newberry Co. SC Loose Wills Dec. 24, 1813 Will of Abigail Wells: Negroes divided between 2 sons, George Wells and Samuel Wells (no names listed) This is all I've come across so far, but I have a mound to wade through. Perhaps these people were taken to Ponotoc Miss, when Daniel went to live with Charles Wells. Best, ginger Contributed by: daily1@swbell.net (gb daily) By way of: LBall3466@aol.com
