Edwards of Clarksville, Johnson County, Arkansas to Calley Edwards, his mother in Holly Springs, Wake County, NC, referring to John W. "Jack" Watson (born May 13, 1820) Wake County, NC. County of birth is stated in his 1864 enlistment into the Union Army. (died March 29, 1898.) . . . . 'Jack and his NEGRO BOY run one plow and made nearly 5 bails cotton and 350 or 400 bushels corn.
