VINCENT, Joseph Will of VA 1821

Joseph Vincent Jr. lived all his life on a farm in Virginia. He married Lucy Jopling in 1802, in Kanawha Co. Va. [now West Va.]. There were at least seven children born of this marriage, possibly more. Joseph is credited with fighting in the battle of Waterloo in 1815

Joseph died in 1821, at the age of 51, and left this will, which stated that everything would remain in his wife's possession, until the youngest child came of age

This was the appraisal of the property, after his wife Lucy died in 1836;

The Vincent Coat of Arms is said to be on the tombstone of Joseph Vincent Jr. in West Virginia.
