The following was taken from The Tennessee Genealogical
Magazine "Ansearchin'" News - Fall & Winter 1980-Volume 27 -

FRANKLIN COUNTY, TENNESSEE WILL BOOK 1808-1847
Abstracted from microfilm by Betsy F. West

These wills have been copied from the original book into a
new volume at some date later than the originals. Errors may
have crept in, particularly in spelling. Moreover, the
copyist makes all letters w, m, n, I, l and r look alike in
a series of scallops. Researchers will be wise to look at
the original of any possible variation. The number preceding
the name of the testator is the page number of the will
book.

27 - JACOB VANZANDT, Senior:
... To wife CATHERINE, land, etc., and Negro girl SALLY and
Negro boy PETER.
... To son ABRAHAM, Negro girl NANCY which I raised, and her
child HAMILTON(?), Negro man ALLEN, Negro boy BUB.
... To son JACOB VANZANDT in trust for the benefit of my
daughter ELIZABETH KURKINDAL and her children, Negro girl
SALLY at my wife's decease.
... To son ISAAC VANZANDT, Negro woman LITTLE NANCY and her
child ANGELLINA and Negro boy LEWIS.
... To the children of my daughter MARY BLACKBERN, Negro
woman WINNEY now in my daughter's possession, also Negro
girl MILLY, Negro boy HARRY, Negro woman known as OLD ANN.
... To son JACOB VANZANDT, Negro woman FANNY and her
children LUCY and TOM, Negro boy PETER (at the death of my
wife) and land adjoining land of FANNY GILLASPIE and RICHARD
CALLOWAY.

 Executors: son, ABRAHAM VANZANDT and JACOB VANZANDT.
 9 Oct 1815.
 Witnesses: JOHN W. HOLDER, DAVID CROCKETT, JOHN (X)
CROCKETT.
