The following was taken from The Tennessee Genealogical
Magazine "Ansearchin'" News - Fall & Winter 1980-Volume 27 -

FRANKLIN COUNTY, TENNESSEE WILL BOOK 1808-1847
Abstracted from microfilm by Betsy F. West

These wills have been copied from the original book into a
new volume at some date later than the originals. Errors may
have crept in, particularly in spelling. Moreover, the
copyist makes all letters w, m, n, I, l and r look alike in
a series of scallops. Researchers will be wise to look at
the original of any possible variation. The number preceding
the name of the testator is the page number of the will
book.

... wife JANE..Negro woman RHODY to be free at wife's death
… JOHN BILLINGSLEY to half of my part of the land whereon I
now reside…"land I purchased of ROBERT BEAN after allowing
THOMAS BLAIR and ROBERT BELL on their complying with their
contract"…also DOCTOR JONATHAN EDWARDS.

 JOHN TILLEY's will was certified as recorded in Rutherford
County, TN
 14 Oct 1809 by JOSEPH HERNDON, clerk.
