The following was taken from The Tennessee Genealogical
Magazine "Ansearchin'" News - Fall & Winter 1980-Volume 27 -
Number 3 & 4

FRANKLIN COUNTY, TENNESSEE WILL BOOK 1808-1847
Abstracted from microfilm by Betsy F. West

These wills have been copied from the original book into a
new volume at some date later than the originals. Errors may
have crept in, particularly in spelling. Moreover, the
copyist makes all letters w, m, n, I, l and r look alike in
a series of scallops. Researchers will be wise to look at
the original of any possible variation. The number preceding
the name of the testator is the page number of the will
book.

10 - WILLIAM TALLEY:
... My Negro girl WINNEY to my mother,
 and after her death to Sister Katy;
... house to brother SAMUEL TALLEY;
... mare to sister CATY and the balance of my part of the
estate to sister CATY, unless my mother stands in need of
it.
... THOMAS TALLEY to have my gun
… corn and cotton to my mother and sister CATY and SALLY.
