Court of Pleas & Quarter Sessions
Feb. court, 1807:
Henry Brannock, the owner of a negro slave cauled and known
by the name of JERRY, prayed that the said slave might be
(for meritorious services rendered to him) emancipated and
set free...Whereupon the court allowed...and ordered that he
be called and known by the name of JEREMIAH STANDLY, with
all the rights and priviledges...
Edward Green and Isaac Penick, securites in the amount of
250 pounds

By affadavit of Elizabeth Albertson, that Jesse Gibson, a
person of colour, requests a record be made of his freedom
and a certificate furnished to said Jesse Gibson.
