Calvert-Mellichamp-Simon-SC-1768-Runaway Runaway: SIMON; on June 14, 1768 from JOHN CALVERT in South Carolina Runaway from the scooner of WILLIAM WITHERS, lying at Mr. Roper's wharf on June 14, was negro fellow SIMON, a very likely, sensible fellow about 30 years of age, 5'9", of yellowish complexion. Deliver him to WHITHERS at GOOSE CREEK, to John CALVERT, or the Warden of the Work House in Charles-Town and receive a reward. "The said fellow has several relations at MR.
