Siler-DeHart-NC-Deed-1852

Macon CO, Deed Book G, p 121:

"Know all men by these presents that I Jesse R Siler for and in consideration of four hundred dollars to me in hand paid by John DeHart have bargained sold and delivered unto the said John DeHart a negro girl about seven years old named Avaline which I warrant free from the lawful claim of any person whatsoever and that she is sound healthy sensible and a slave for life In testimony whereof I have here unto set my hand and seal this 3rd day of April 1852" Acknowledged by JR Siler; testator Nathan DeHart.
