Subject: SC DAH Index
I recently ordered some indexes of Bills of Sale for certain
given names which I thought might possibly contain my
ancestors and their buyer.
The names that I requested and was mailed indexes for are as
follows: Bill, William, Polly, Pollie, Creasy, Cressy,
Dolly, Dollie, and others.
I contacted the SC Department of Archives and History and
asked them if I could post this information to the list
to help out others who may be researching the same names
or similar names. They told me it would be okay.
If you see something of interest, you can contact them at
(803) 896-6104 to request the Bill of Sale on that individual.
I will start with "Bill" and
will post others as time permits.
