RUSSELL-NC-1813 Slaves in David Russell's Will (NC-1813) I've recently compiled some notes on the slaves mentioned in my ancestors will. Below you will find the will, followed by notes regarding the dispositions of these slaves. I'm still in the process of tracing each slave to at least the 1870 Census (as I have Tom, aka Ben). I hope this information is helpful to your site. I will forward any additional information I find on slaves held by my ancestors. I will also look through the various documents I have pertaining to Carteret County and forward any notations regardings slaves.
