ROBINSON, Jane, petition for a writ of lunacy:

"Jane Robinson, widow and relict of James Robertson, deceased, is now much advanced in years being now about or near 70 years of age, that her mind is much impaired by age and disease, that she is incapable of attending to her own business ...signed Thomas and Houston for informant ...no date.

"On 6 Sept. 1841 Samuel S. Porter was ordered to court to give evidence in insanity of Jane Robinson.
... Jury declares Jane Robinson is of unsound mind... ...she owned 150 acres on Big Creek and one negro boy Isom, age 15 ...dated 7 Sept. 1841
