Should wife Polly Render marry again she is to have a negro girl called EMILY. At wife's death EMILY and increase, if any, revert back to his children or their offspring...
Desires that the negroes EMILY, DESA, EDMUND, THOMAS and BENJAMIN remain for the use of the family.
Negro man EDMUND and girl DESA be emancipated on 24 December 1851, provided they remain good servants to that time.
