...to son Robert REID 3 negroes and at his death sd. Mary, wench, be div. among any female children of sd. Robert REID
...to dau. Mary WOOLF, wife of Francis WOOLF dur. nat. life only and not to be controlled by her husband or liable for his debts, negro wench Venus and her 5 children, and at her death to female children of Mary WOOLF...
...to granddau. alias Mary GORDON, Mary REID, dau. of Murray REED, dec'd. my negro girl Judy...
item, on condition that Susannah REED, alias Susannah STRINGER, alias Susannah ODUM, relict of Murray REED, dec'd. shall make and execute her renunciation of dower of a plantation lying near Camden in So. Car. which I have lately sold to William ADAMSON; then and in that case, I give and devise as follows to Susannah REED, STRINGER, ODUM, the sum of $l50;

...to each of her two sons by Murray REED, viz. Jacob and Murray $l5O and
...to her dau. Sally by sd. Murray REED dec'd., I give and beq. my negro girl Venus provided that sd. Sally pay to my Exors. the sum of $40 to assent in payment of the other legacies...
but if sd. Susannah REED, STRINGER or ODUM should refuse Ren. of Dower the above beq. to her and her children are made void.
...and in case Ren. of Dower not complied with by Susannah, I give all the property etc. intended for her and her 4 children,
...to my 2 sons Robert REED and John REED
...and the children of my son Alexander REED, dec'd. and to be div. into 3 equal parts.
