Pegues & Emma William Pegues the following named negroes viz. Wisdom, Anika, Rebecca, Meshach, Sahdrack, Edmond, Juno, Flora, Martha, & Nero. ... I give & bequeath to the children of my son, James Pegues, deceased all the monies that may arise from the sale of the two negroes Betty & Margaret as herein after directed. ...
