From a will in Shelby Co., KY filed 1833, Bun 85 #12, Book 14, pg. 188; Sep 1841, Wm. Nichols left to his wife, Elizabeth, and children, Andrew, Joseph, Squire, Wm., Richmond, Eliza Watkins (wife of Felix G. Watkins), Samuel the following slaves:

	boy  Aaron  $500.
	boy  Wyatt  $475.
	boy  Samuel  $275.
	girl  Mary  $225.
	girl  Eliza  $175.
	girl  Sarah  $125.
	woman  Charlott  $60.

1794  in Shelby Co., KY;  Joseph Morris married Sarah Watkins, widow of Thomas Watkins, and as a result, wife gave Negroes to daughter, Mary Nuckolls:

	Alley, Sam, Fillis.
