... 5th I desire to Jane Butcher, Mary Butcher and Phebe Butcher daughter(s?) of John Butcher all the land I may own at my death to them and their heirs forever upon the condition that they support my old negro woman Betty during her life.

... 6th I desire that my Executor herein after named as soon after my decease as practicable sell at public auction my negro man Merriman? and also all the perishable portion of my estate upon a reasonable credit - and after paying the above legacies the balance I desire to Jane Butcher, Mary Butcher and Phebe Butcher to be equally divided between them.
