This is from the memoirs of one of my xg.grandmothers.
No, the memoirs are not documented, but perhaps they can help narrow someone's search.

Mrs. Hannah Hamilton McKnight (child of Robert Reid Hamilton and Mary French). Second husband Dr. Theodore McKnight of Liberty, MS. Married in 1856. The following names were listed in this memoir:

JENNY, a noted cook and seamstress
POLLY, the nurse
GRANNY MARY, who cared for the children on the plantation
JIM, the carriage driver
CALVIN
BEN
