Book 15 Page 436 William ANDRES To Mary LLOYD Whereas by virtue of an Execution to me directed from Thomas BREWER Esq a Justice of the Peace in and for the County of Orange bearing date the 23 day of May 1809 to satisfy a judgement obtained before the said Thomas BREWER Esq. in favor of Mary LLOYD against John ONEAL for the sum of sixty Dollars with cost. Now know all men by these presents that I William ANDRIS Constable having levied said Execution on a Negro Girl Ailsey the said property of said John ONEAL and having advertised the same Agreeable to Law did on this day of June capose said Negro Ailsey to Public Sale when Mary LLOYD being the highest and last bidder at the sum of Sixty Dollars the said Negro Ailsey was knocked down to her. Now know ye that I the said William ANDRES Constable have by these presents do bargain Sell and deliver the said Negro Girl Ailsey to the said Mary LLOYD forever for the said sum of Sixty Dollars And I do warrent and defend the title to said Negro as far as my office compells me and no farther.
