Will of LAVINA KELLY, a colored woman, set free by Benjamin Kelly, dec'd
Probated February Court 1837
Desires that her daughter BETSEY KELLY have her freedom. As she executed several notes to Solomon Phillips some time back for the payment of the above daughter BETSEY she desired that her executor, Hardin Haynes, pay to said Phillips 12% interest on all the notes until paid
Should there be any estate left after all debts are paid, then executor to pay to her son, NATHAN KELLY, who is at this time a slave belonging to Mr. Noval C. KELLY.
