GOODGION the Trustee, have bargained ... to W.H. GOODGION in Trust for Mrs. Sophronia MACHEN the following negro slave, to wit, SARAH about 15 years old ...

To have ... the sd negro slave with her future issue in trust for Mrs. Sophonia MACHEN for her natural life, then to be sold and proceeds equally divided among her children. The Trustee is to allow Mrs. MACHEN to use the slaves or the Trustee may hire them out and pay Mrs. MACHEN income annually or sell the slave(s) and pay Mrs. MACHEN interest annually.
