Some more names of our ancestors, that were held in bondage.

Pursuant to an order of the worshipful the Justices of the Court of Pleas and Quarter Sessions February Term 1848 to us directed on petition of Mary M. Gibbs, Henry S. Gibbs, by Seth Gibbs Guardian and Francis Gibbs deceased.  Whose administrators in Thomas Ballance Commanding as to divide the following Negro slaves to wit; Arnold, Samuel, Jacob, Willis, Anson, Robert, Thomas, Moses, Vergil, Joseph, Thomas, Charles, Sophia Nicey, Silvey, Ann, Aida, and Harriet, belonging to the estate of Henry Gibbs deceased, and allot to each tenant in common his or her share in severalty.
  We the undersigned.com.. in accordance thereto having met on the premised and after being duly sworn proceeded and divided the said Negro slaves in the following manner.
