I Joel Davis FORSYTHE of the county of Butler and State of Kentucky, being sound of mind and memory for which I have great reason to thank God, being desirous of disposing of all my earthly possessions, do make and publish the following as my last will and Testament, revoking all others.

... I desire that my beloved wife Irene FORSYTHE shall have forever, all my Estate, both real and personal to do what she pleases with the same. I desire that she be my only lawful and legal representative...
... That she if it be lawful have power to sell any of the slaves that she may desire for her own use, advantage and comfort. ...
