Jennett to Farrow-NC-1860

November Term 1860

Know all men by these present that I  Wallace R. JENNETT for
and in consideration of the sum of one hundred dollars to me
in had paid by Abraham C. FARROW of Cape Hatteras Hyde
County the reciept whereof I do bargain sell and deliver
unto the said A. C. FARROW

... a negro woman by the name of DORCAS aged about 55 years
to have and to hold.

The aforesaid bargained Negro unto the said A.C. FARROW his
executors administrators and assignees forever and I the
said Wallace R. JENNETTE for myself  my executors and
administrators shall and will warrant and defend the same
against all persons unto the said A.C. FARROW his executors
administrators and assignees by these presents in _____.
whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this June the
2nd day 1860.
