A legal notice concerning the case of JAMES W. FANT, admr vs JOHN B FANT, et al.  In the May Term 1843, Probate Court of Marshall Co, MS. JAMES W. FANT, administrator of the estate of ELIAS FANT, deceased, petitions that a distribution of property cannot be made and requests an order to sell four negroes, viz:  DAPHNE, and her three children:  THOMAS, MARIA, & MARGARET.

The following parties to the suit are listed as out-of-state residents:
BENJAMIN S. FANT, ELIAS T. FANT, SIMON FANT, & MARY E.B.MOORE.

The order was issued by the Court on 23 May 1843 and was posted in THE GUARD.
