Samuel Dent of Franklin Co, MO - He started out in VA then on to KY and lastly to MO

... I give to my Wife Patsy my Negro man George and Negro woman Milly and Negro woman  Nancy(Raney)sp. and her two children James Alfred and William Anderson. Milly is to be free at the death of my wife.
... I give to my son Baley Dent my negro boy Bob
... I give to my son Henry Dent my Negro boy Tandy
... I give to my son Josiah Dent my Negro boy Johnston
... I give to my daughter Lavina Beatty and to her children my Negro girl Grace and her children forever.
... I give to my daughter Ann Parks my Negro girl Eddy for her and her children forever.
... I give to my daughter Malinda Johnson and to her children my Negro Fanny and her issue forever.
After the death of my wife Patsy,
.......... I give to my daughter Olly the negro woman Nancy if she be then living.
This will was signed and sworn on April 14, 1834.
