 "In the name . . .the thirtieth Day of July in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and fourty four I Symon de hart of the township of Brookland at the place called Gowanes In King's County to my Loving wife Angeniette my negro girle called Pega for her to Serve During her naturall Life or to Sell and Dispose of the said negro girle if the said wife thinks best and it is my will and order that my negro woman called Rosett and Sue shall help my said wife to do her work if She hath ocassion for it."
