Item 3, I give and bequeath and devise to my daughter Emily Cowan my Negro boy Jeff and a Negro girl by the name of Caroline...

Item 4, I give and bequeath to my son Nathan Cowan my Negro woman Zine and her daughter Clary and their future increase provided he pays a debt I owe to his uncle John Campbell...

Item 5, I give and bequeath and devise to my daughter Elizabeth McBrown my Negro girl Flora with her future increase.

Item 6, I give and bequeath and devise to my daughter Rebecca Cowan my Negroes Dinah & Hannah with their future increase if any.

Item 7, I give and bequeath to my son John Cowan my Negro boy Kish and Linby with her future increase if any.

Item 8, I give and bequeath and devise to my son Audley my Negro woman Rachel with her future increase to be by my son John held in trust for Audley ...

Item 9, I give and bequeath to my son Robert Varner Cowan my Negro boy Lemon and Alfred to him and his Heirs and assigns forever.  And as this is the last devise that I ever intend to make of my Negroes or Land my will is each of my children to whom I have willed Negroes susceptible of increase shall hold their increase if there should any increase be among them.

I witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this first day of March in the year of out Lord 1830.
