LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT OF DAVID COCKE

I David Cocke of Scott County...

...I hereby give to my beloved wife, Jemima, two negro
slaves named MEM 
and RHODA

...I give to my son William, my negro girl named MARY
and any increase she may have before I die.

...I give to my son Henry, my negro boy named DAVID.

...I give to my son David, my negro girl SARAH, and 
any increase she may have whilst I live.

...I give to my son James, my negro boy named JACK.

...I give to my daughter Betsy Brickey my negro girl
named BETS or BETSEY, with her increase as above.

...I give to my daughter Jemima Nelson, my negro girl
named HANNAH with her increase as above.

...I give to my daughter Nancy Gillenwater, my negro
girl named JENNY with her increase as above.

In testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed
my seal this
8th day of August 1826.

[The two children not included in the will were JOHN, 
who died in 1819 before the will was made and PATSY 
for which there is no explanation.]
