From will of father Christopher Clark, Louisa Co, VA dated Aug 14, 1741, proved May 28, 1754: "3rd I give to my loving daughter Rachel Moorman, four hundred acres of  land in Hanover Co. near to Capt. Thos. Dancy, and one negro woman named MOLL with her increase and whatever she has that was ever mine." ["Descendants of C. & M.Clark," p.3] 

From LOUISA CO, VA, DEED BOOKS A AND B 1742-1759, abstracted and compiled by Rosalie Edith David, Bellevue, WASH, 1976, p. 100, her brother Edward Clark, eldest son of Christopher Clark, dec'd, deeded her husband, Thomas Moorman, 400 acres, for 10 shillings.
