do make this to b e my last will and testament in manner and form
... Item: I give to my wife Mary Ann Chick negroes namely: Betty, Charlotte, James Monroe, James, Amagilla, Manuel, Queen, James Robertson, and Rose, and their increase.
... I lend to my brother Davis S. Chick the negroes namely: Maria Amanda, Wilson, Elizabeth and their increase during his lifetime after wich I give to Wm. J. Chick, his son, Maria and her daugheter Elizabeth and their increase.
... Wilson, the above named boy I give to my nephew Robert Jones, my sister Patsey's son.
... Amanda the above named girl to Ann Selden Ragland, my niece.
... Item: I give to Nancy L. Jones negores namely: Louisa, Alexander, Lucion and Charles Berkeley and their increase.
... Item: I lend to my nephew Burwell P. Jones one negro man named Robertson my Blacksmith.
... this my last will and Testament this 11th day of March 1854.
