Early Deeds of Columbia County, Georgia.

Mary CARMICHAEL, widow, with good will and affection to children, Joseph W., Abner, Elizabeth Grey and Peggy Bynum Carmichael, when they arrive at 21 years, Negroes SIMON, REBBECCA, MINGO, MILLY, ISAAC, JACOB, CATE, PHEBE and HANNAH. Also five cows and calves; four head of horse-kind, 150 acres of land, granted to Beverly Lower, by deed from him to William Maddox, from him to said Mary Carmichael. March 3, 1792.
