William BRASSELL listed the following slaves in his will dated 29 June 1860 Fayette Co, GA:

... MOSES a negro man - bequeathed to Delia/Delilah Moses

... TILDA a negro girl - to youngest sons of Delia/Delilah Moses-Phillip and Hiram Drew Moses to be equally divided between them when they arrive at mature age. "Said TILDA to be hired out by my executor and all the proceeds or increas if any to be also divided equally between them."

... ISSAC a negro boy - bequeathed to Martha Brassell

... MADISON a negro boy - bequeathed to John C. Brassell

... RUFFIN a negro man - bequeathed to Alva F. Brassell

Also mentioned in a separate list is SIMON, a negro boy about 14 years old given to Britton W. BRASSELL in order to make equal balance of the legatus.
