I wish my slaves, DAPHNEY and ELIZA transfered by my exe. to such of my children as will accept them at the lower premium to be paid by my exe.

I give to my daughter Nancy whilst she remains unmarried my negro man, HOARACE, which slave at her death or marriage I wish sold and the proceeds divided between my children now living.

I give to my daughter PEGGY whilst she remains single my negro boy JOHN which slave on her death or marriage I wish sold and the proceeds divided between my children now living....

The residue of my estate including slaves, I wish sold and the proceeds applied to the payment of my debts the support of the two slaves after the manner here in before provided and the satisfaction of the legacy herein before bequeathed.

William was the father of Nancy as proven by naming his granddaughter Betty Ann Stewart.
