Jeremiah Smith, Sr. of Anson County... to Thomas Allen, for the sum of Ten dollars and the love and affection for
my daughter, wife of Thomas Allen, his heirs and assigns, two negroes - a negro woman by the name of Tab, aged about
40 and a boy by the name of Tim, aged 13.
This the 15th day of April, 1823.
