I am looking to verify a Native Am. connection to the surname LENNARD or LEONARD. My ancestor was born in GA lived in AL and visited FL (Pensacola). She married a SPEED in AL. I am told she was Cherokee but I suspect Creek. Can you help me link this name to Native ancestry?
