Im seeking more information on The Shields family. Benjamin Shields was my ggg-grandfather brother to William and Archibald Shields. I know that they joined the Seminoles in Mexico and that they were Seminole Scouts.

Benjamin had a daughter with Kitty Johnson...he also had several other children...Mary Frances Shields being one of his daughters. She was my gg-grandmother. Any information on her would also be appreciated. I am still trying to find out who her mother was.

I am woundering if any of the Shields living in Braketville Texas are my relatives?
