I am trying to find out info. on my great grandfather Amos Boone and/or his father John Boone. My grandmother told me that her grandfather John Boone was a regular each year at Oklahoma Pow-Wows and usually went alone. I do not know to what tribe(s) he was affiliated but he used to sing a Christian song to her in a Native language; some words were "Yon da ja/jie? nuh..." Also on her mother's side (Minnie Isaac married name Minnie Boone) my grandmother's greatgrandmother "looks" to be full blood of some tribe (I know looks can be decieving...). I saw her picture once but no family as yet can tell me anything about her. "HELP!!":To all genealogists out there! -DC
