My GGGrandfather Wesley Galloway and GGGrandmother Josephine (Clegg) Galloway wed on Nov. 20 1879 Grant County Arkansas. They are both believed to be Choctaw Freedmen. Born to them were: Lee Galloway Joseph H. Galloway and 3 daughters (names unknown).

Joseph Galloway moved to Dallas and became the Bishop of Texas under Elder Mason of the Church of God and Christ. He married Elma (Wade) Galloway.

Lee Galloway also moved to Dallas. He married a woman named Hester. Their children were: Cleophus George Truman and Travelee Galloway.
