Hello--
I am researching a book to raise money for the preservation of historic communities. The focus is on intergenerational stories of families that currently live in historic communities and also have ancestors who helped build those communities--and a piece of American history. The goal is to weave together 25 family stories from different ethnic and cultural backgrounds to present a portrait of our collective "American Family" roots. I would really appreciate any leads on interesting Black Native American family stories that fit into this theme.
