Seems to me the thing that changed or made a difference with you was the knowing of your ancesters not citizenship in a tribe. Why is that not enough? you or children dont have to be a citizen to be proud of you heritage black white indian what ever! I just dont get the need to be a part of something that works against you when life is to short. not one of the people who answered actually gave an answer to the question why is it important to be a member of the tribe for black people?
