Note that if you are a descendant of Freedmen the "rights" of the nations will not apply. All of the nations now including the Seminoles do not wish to acknowledge the presence of African ancestored people and have essentially been succssful at preventing blacks who have documentation to their nation from ever being admitted to their "nations" again. Apartheid and Jim Crow are alive and well in Oklahoma.

A few persons have obtained admission to the nations but not without a nasty battle with attorneys getting involved.
