I'm looking for a black-indian ancestor from Summit MS: Mary Cockerham/Corkerham b.10-16-1861 Summit MS d.2-11-1921 N.Abington MA She married Albert Terrell in 1879 N.Abington MA. Her death certificate lists her parents as Andrew Corkerham & Sara Freshley. I haven't been able to trace anything on them either. The archives in MS don't have anything for Summit prior to 1890. I also haven't figured out why she chose to migrate to MA. Any research tips would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
