Any information regarding the surnames Banks and/or townsend would be appreciated. My Paternal line is from the Pensacola area of Florida. I know that Banks shows up alot on the freedman rolls of the 5 CN's. I even found an Albert Banks listed as Choctaw by Marriage. I am not sure of the migration pattern of the Pensacola Banks' so I don't know if they originated in Fla or came in from Tx Ok Louisiana?
