I assume that you are speaking of a family that lived in Indian Territory which is now Oklahoma. However you mentioned South Carolina in your post. If your family has Oklahoma origins especially from the period of 1866 - 1914 then the names on the Dawes Rolls are probably those of your ancestors. If your family has always been in South Carolina there may be a possibility of a coincidence of names taking place.
