What's the difference between authenticated and ad
As I was checking the Cherokee Freedmen rolls I've noticed that some are listed as authenticated Freedmen and some are listed as admitted freedmen (on the Wallace Rolls). What's the difference between the two? My ancestors are listed as authenticated freedmen.
