Siordia's in Ahualulco & Guadalajara
In Response To: Re: Lost Ancestry/siordia/navarre spain ()
i've been trying to find out about my lastname also..
As my grandfather used to tell, the first Siordia's arrived to Ahualulco, small town nearby Guadalajara, where i was born and raised, he never talked about his family, all i knew is that they were caciques / landowners, very powerfull family, and he was exile from there and lived in Guadalajara, his name was Julio Siordia Uribe and was born in 1919 married with Manuela Rodriguez, i think his mother name was Marcelina, but not sure.., i only knew 3 of his brothers, Evaristo, Ernestina & Aurelio. he had 9 childrens, 5 boys and 4 girls, i know he had i think anohter 2 kids but i dont know them...
Ahualulco is a small town, and yes this place and also Etzatlan, (next to it) has street names of several Siordia's, as far as know always involved in politics...
my grandfather used to have the documents with the descendency, and the shield, since he died, we dont know where these docuemnts are...
keep me posted if you have more news!
