Right now, there is not much time for historical research. While I'm not discouraging you from doing that, the time for fighting for the rights of the Black Cherokees is at hand. If you are close to Tahlequah, go to the Rules Committee meeting this next Thursday, at 1 p.m., at the Cherokee Nation Council house. Make them look into your face to do their evil deeds. Contact everyone you know, Cherokee by blood and Freedmen, white, black etc., and tell them what is happening. Contact your newspapers and other media outlets, find a hungry reporter and give them the facts. When this battle is won, and it can be won, we will talk about finding the interesting facts about your ancestor Stick Ross. Until then, put on your armor, we are at war.
