Hi,

I am first time visitor to this website and am looking to correspond with Mr. Cornsilk concerning some information given by my uncle Leslie Ross. I am in the infancy stage of learning about my native american heritage and am beginning to realize that I do not have all the facts. I am currently reading several history books on one of my ancestors John Ross, yet I have not been able to find much on Joseph "stick" Ross. If you would please respond to my message at your earliest convenience I would greatly appreciate it. I would like to become progressively active in this groups endevors in pursuing justice and equality within the Cherokee Nation for te descendants of all Freedmen as I become more educated and involved. I am grateful for all that you all have accomplished because without you I would not know more fully who I am and where I come from and most importantly where I am going. THANK YOU.
